The latest edition of the HVAC&R Industry Guide to Workplace Safety has been released and will be distributed free-of-charge to contractors, service operators and engineers.

The annual publication is released by Pro-Visual Publishing with support from the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) and the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors Association (AMCA).

This year’s guide covers the most current hot topics to do with WHS employer and employee duties and responsibilities.

Recognising the need to be up-to-date with WHS laws and regulations, this year’s guide features the new WHS Harmonisation Model, its key principles and how it will affect industry.

Other topics covered include how to plan and implement a Safety Management System, as well as safety procedures to help minimise risk when handling refrigerants and leaks.

Airborne hazards from HVAC&R systems are also identified and there are cleaning and maintenance tips, as well as the most important points to do with electrical safety.

Pro-Visual Publishing CEO, John Hutchings, thanked the sponsors of this year’s guide which includes resource charts and information sheets.
