Hastie Group firms sold

More than 400 jobs have been saved in Victoria following the collapse of the Hastie Group.
Since the Hastie Group went into voluntary administration in late May, thousands of jobs have been on the chopping block.

The administrators PPB Advisory have had some success selling Hastie Group subsidiaries in a bid to save as many jobs as possible.

Since Hastie’s went into voluntary administration PPB Advisory has secured the sale of two Victorian-based firms.

They include a Tullamarine hydraulics business, Cooke and Carrick which has 134 employees, and D&E Air Conditioning which has 274 employees at it Rowville-based business.

Despite the win there are still thousands of workers in the local HVAC&R industry facing an uncertain future.
