The HVACR Leader of the Year Award, is a unique category in CCN's awards program.

Finalists for this award have long standing careers that have contributed to the development of our industry.

Kirby national sales & marketing manager, Brett Hedge, has been a long standing industry advocate since completing his apprenticeship in 1999. When he is not busy promoting natural refrigerants, he sits on the AIRAH Refrigeration Special Technical Group. His knowledge and experience has made him an influencer and driving force in this industry.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air Conditioners Australia general manager, Adrian Brown, is a natural leader. He is energetic and passionate about the HVACR industry which is why has become a mentor to so many. But it was his initiative more recently that really showcased his leadership when he helped introduce Australia's first accredited training course for R32.

Australian Refrigeration Council CEO, Glenn Evans, has worked closely with industry for many years reducing emissions of ozone depleting and synthetic greenhouse gas refrigerants. He has overseen the introduction of Green Scheme Accreditation pushing flammable refrigerant training into the mainstream.

Temperzone general manager, Robert Beggs, has been a long-standing contributor to the HVACR industry and has a 30-year history in standards development. He also represents Australia on the global stage most recently at an international standards meeting at Copenhagen in July. Robert continues to drive change actively participating in industry groups such as AREMA, RRA, RA and other working groups.
