The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturers Association of Australia (AREMA) will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2017.
Speaking at AREMA's annual dinner event in Sydney last week, AREMA president, Mark Padwick, said plans are underway to commemorate 50 years of achievement next year.
Padwick listed AREMA's main successes for 2016 including the Greenhouse and Energy Mininum Standards (GEMS) Review, the Ozone Review, ARBS Exhibition and the creation of scholarships and research under the ARBS Foundation.
"These are all important achievements. We were able to achieve everything we set out to do," he said.
Padwick also took the opportunity to farewell industry veteran, Greg Groppenbacher, who has stepped down from his position on the AREMA Board.
ARBS chair, Ian Hopkins, talked about the success of this year's ARBS Exhibition and confirmed the next event in 2018 will be held in Sydney.
Following is an album showcasing the 2016 dinner which features more than a dozen pictures. Enjoy!
