The Energy Users Association of Australia (EUAA) has announced the appointment of a new chair. The new role will be held by Brian Morris, vice president for energy and sustainability services at Schneider Electric. The EUAA plays a large role in advocating for Australia's energy users in the industrial, resources and commercial sector. Morris has expertise across technical, business, financial and energy trading. In his Schneider Electric role, Morris provides a range of solutions to help clients improve business results through superior sustainability performance and energy efficiency. He was also a founder and director of Creative Energy Solutions from 2003 to 2010. Commenting on his new role, Morris said the energy market has seen constant change. "We are heading into a period of significant and unprecedented disruption with batteries and renewables, smart products and systems," he said. "I see a lot of smart and passionate people in the energy industry and we need to tackle these challenges as a group across both industry and supply chain. "Communication plays an important part in this and the EUAA provides a great platform for that to happen,"
