Seeley International has announced the appointment of Michael Hamilton as its new general manager of commercial sales.
Seeley International founder and executive chair, Frank Seeley AM said Hamilton’s strong technical background, combined with an impressive track record in business growth, made him the perfect candidate to lead the growth of the organisation’s commercial and industrial business within the Australian market.
“His unique skillset includes trade qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning, and his experience as business development manager at Mayfield Industries and more than 14 years working in senior roles with Daikin Australia means he is a valuable addition to the Seeley International team,” Seeley said.
In welcoming the appointment, group managing director, Jon Seeley, said the company is committed to remaining a market leader, and that success is achieved by attracting and retaining the very best people, and an unwavering commitment to developing innovative and high-quality products using cost-effective automation.
“It is critical to have a high-performing professional sales network of expert individuals who are passionate about customer service and offer unrivalled product knowledge, and by these criteria he is ideally suited to lead our commercial sales team," he said.
Hamilton was most recently the business development manager for Mayfield Industries. Prior to that, he held a number of senior roles with Daikin Australia, including state manager of South Australia and the Northern Territory, as well as stints in similar roles across Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and the ACT.
Hamilton said he was pleased to join the Seeley International team to help drive business growth objectives across the Australian commercial and industrial business portfolios.
“Seeley International offers an impeccable reputation for innovation, quality, reliability and safety, and I look forward to working with customers to showcase the unrivalled technology and energy efficiency benefits offered by Seeley International’s products,” Hamilton said.
Based in Adelaide, Hamilton began his new role earlier this week.
