Louise McCann has been appointed managing director of A-Gas Australia effective from July 1, 2015.
McCann will report directly to Andrew Ambrose, the group CEO for A-Gas.
Announcing the appointment earlier today, Ambrose said McCann has been with A-Gas for over 10 years and during her time as commercial director has played a key role in the restructuring, broadening and rebalancing of the company's customer portfolio and the evolution of the A-Gas value proposition, including the commercialization of the Environmental Services business model.
"During this time, she has also developed a very extensive knowledge of the Australian Refrigeration and HVAC market," he said.
"Her appointment follows a challenging period within the Australian market against a backdrop of regulatory uncertainty, turbulent business dynamics and loss of business confidence.
"During this period we have been extremely fortunate to have had the experience of Grahame Gordon as our interim managing director, helping to set the business direction."
Ambrose said Gordon has been an enthusiastic and passionate leader of the A-Gas business and for the balance of 2015 will continue to have operational accountability for A-Gas Rural and will also continue to mentor the Australian management team
as he reverts to his non-executive role.
