Castel Electronics, Australian distributors of the Midea range of domestic and commercial air conditioners, is planning an Australian roadshow.

The roadshow will formally introduce the Midea range to local industry and customers.

The first event will be held at the Perth Hyatt Regency, Western Australia on Wednesday, November 13, 2013.

Castel management, engineers and staff will introduce newly appointed WA distributor, AC Wholesalers WA, and present a comprehensive range of air conditioners available from Midea.

The major projects and business development manager for Castel Electronics, Bernie Bugdalski, said the roadshow is a great forum to present portable, window wall, high wall, ducted, cassette, multi air conditioning systems together with a range of commercial VRF models with capacities ranging from 8 kW to 200 kW, including heat recovery models.

Bugdalski said a highlight will be the presentation of Midea's solar powered high wall split system – a generation 2 model capable of operating from energy provided by the sun, storage batteries and mains power.

A commercial product selection tool to assist the industry in “getting the right product for the right applications at the right conditions” will also be available for demonstration on the night.

"Initial response to the invitations has exceeded expectations and Castel, ACW WA and the Midea representatives are eagerly looking forward to showcasing the opportunities the Midea product range offers the Australian air conditioning market," he said.

After Perth, the roadshow will move to the eastern states culminating at next year's ARBS Exhibition in Melbourne.
