Seeley International founder and executive chairman, Frank Seeley, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Australian Gas Association (AGA).
Seeley said he was excited at the opportunity to contribute at the highest level of the national not-for-profit industry association, which provides accredited product certification services across the gas, electrical and plumbing sectors.
“At Seeley International I have enjoyed working alongside industry bodies such as the AGA to help in developing safer and more efficient gas heaters and cooking products, and I look forward to working in my new role to assist in shaping the future direction of the Association, while working with its many members and stakeholders,” he said.
“In my role as Board Member I also hope to continue educating and campaigning about the many benefits of using natural gas as a clean-burning energy source.”
AGA managing director and chief executive, Chris Wealthy, congratulated Seeley on being elected, adding that he is a great asset to the Board.
“He offers a wealth of knowledge and incredible business acumen acquired over more than four decades and I look forward to his strategic input and wise counsel over the years ahead,” Wealthy said.
Seeley has more than 30 years Board experience, and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2001,
