Oz-Chill Refrigerants is offering up to $150 cashback, to all licensed refrigeration mechanics who enroll with the College of Climate Change for the Nationally Accredited Hydrocarbon Training course.
Oz-Chill managing director Matthew Passelt said the offer is aimed at supporting the industry by offsetting some of the training costs.
“Oz-Chill understands the importance of safety when dealing with natural refrigerants like hydrocarbons,” he said.
“As hydrocarbons are continually being introduced into the Australian and global markets of air conditioning and refrigeration, there is a growing need for creditable and nationally accredited training.
“We understand there are a lot of refrigeration mechanics who do not understand a lot of the new low GWP refrigerants like R290, R600a and R32; we want to help provide them with training and education.”
The College of Climate change offers the training to licensed refrigeration mechanics all over Australia.
The course covers the two units UENEEJ174A & UEENEEJ175A and takes a full day to complete.
