Seeley International hosted two international trade delegations during October

A group of 15 trade officials from 10 different African countries took part in a factory tour in late October, together with the arrival of a contingent of international distributors from various corners of the globe.

Seeley also hosted a three day International Distributor Conference in Adelaide welcoming distributors from the Sub continent, the Middle East, Europe and South Africa.

Seeley International founder and chairman, Frank Seeley AM, said the fact that its Breezair, Climate Wizard, Braemar, Coolair and Convair brands have been tried and tested in some of Australia’s most harsh and challenging conditions means the company can export them to more than 120 different countries with the utmost confidence in their performance, reliability and durability.

“We have a strong export history that began with a shipment of the first all-plastic portable evaporative air conditioners to Iraq in 1980 and the USA in 1985, before opening sales offices in Europe, Spain, France and Italy in coming years,” he said.

“At a time when the spotlight is firmly on the future sustainability of Australian manufacturing, it is very rewarding to host international visitors of this calibre and show other businesses that a commitment to innovate and automate can deliver success on a national and international scale.

“Our export efforts contribute to employment growth in Australia, and the normal seasonal production fluctuations of air conditioning products for the Australian market are addressed by a focus on export sales during our winter period.”

The Australian visit by the group of African trade officials was part of a University course being conducted by the Institute for International Trade, allowing participants to better understand the real world implications of their work.
