Woolworths technician Blake Hannington was working at Dan Murphy’s when he met a Woolworths refrigeration apprentice and asked about the job.
“The more I heard the better it sounded so I went online and applied,” Blake says.
It turned out to be a great decision and now Blake is in a job he loves.
“Every day is different and the opportunities to learn are endless,” he says.
“That is what makes it so challenging there is always plenty of problem-solving to do.”
Since he began his apprenticeship Blake has been working in the installation space.
“I am eager to dive deeper into the service and commissioning side of the job I want to get a better understanding of the mechanical side of the trade.”
