Hevac has been an Australian controls manufacturer & supplier to the A/C industry for over 35 years.

The company is well known for its HTC2 & 4 package unit temperature controllers having sold well over 100,000 units.

Their premium product is the stand-alone microprocessor based temperature controller known as the "ENDEAVOUR" named in honour of the recent discovery of Captain James Cook’s ship, and is packed full of features for under $320.

Some of the notable features are 365 Time Switch, CO2, Humidity & universal control inputs, 2nd independent control loop - making the Endeavour actually two controllers in one. A new feature is the ability to reset the main setpoint based on O/A temperature and room humidity, intended to maximise energy savings and improved comfort relative to outdoor conditions.

Override control interlocks include auto/off/on manual override, modbus for connection to a BMS system or to allow connection of up to 32 Endeavours to the Hevac HMI colour touch screen for remote monitoring & override, making a system of connected Endeavours a great low cost alternative to a traditional BMS control system.

Also recently added to Hevac's sensor range is the HSMO series of modern aesthetic room sensors available in many versions with temperature, humidity & CO2 measurement, digital display, setpoint & after hours timer trigger buttons.

Versions with the CO2 air quality cell can be set with a CO2 control range output for direct control of O/A fans or dampers for local CO2 control (ie 0-10vdc output over 600-900ppm), negating the need of a separate controller.

The Hevac HCP7 car park CO controller has become the controller of choice for car park CO & NO2 management, developed in Australia to be fully compliant to AS1668.2 car park ventilation control requirements and is capable of reading up to 7 CO or NO2 sensors directly or via expansion modules up to 42 sensors for larger car parks.

New to the Hevac car park control range is the just released SACO CO standalone combined sensor/controller, designed & built in Australia and is targeted for small garages or individual car lockups.

This sensor is designed for direct control of on/off or variable speed ventilation fans and is complete with an easy to read digital display of current status & CO level.

The sensor incorporates a siren & mute button, the required automatic ventilation turnover timer, system fault monitoring plus many handy features to make system commissioning & testing easy even with an on-board system test button to force the ventilation system through a complete test cycle.
