HEVAC has released a new Australian made and designed SWCS cam switch series.

This is in addition to its existing AWEC series of 0-10vdc A/O/M control modules.

This new offering is an even more economical and simple solution for Auto / Off / Manual switchboard fascia mount control for devices controlled by a 0-10vdc control circuits.

The SWCS series of cam switches combine an On / Off /Enable switched output plus an Auto / Off / Manual selectable DC volt output.

The SWCS DC volt output signal is usually directly connected to the controlled device, ie EC fan, Variable speed pump, VSD or modulating actuators, with the 0-10v output signal derived either from the on-board  "Manual" mode positions or from the "Auto" position which passes through the external 0-10vdc signal source ( ie BMS or standalone controller output ).

The SWCS incorporates an onboard 12vDC power supply to source the manual mode output. The switch mechanism is a double gang switch with the 1st gang selecting the DC control signal source & 2nd gang used as a switched on/off output for both the Auto & Manual positions.

It can be used either as an external run indication interlock or to provide a switched enable output typically required by VSD's. SWCS-#-RF models which also have RUN & FAULT status L.E.D's interlocked to a dedicated run input typically derived from a VSD run contacts, C.T, Pressure or Flow proving switch to enable the onboard green RUN or red FAIL leds.

Only one to three10mm holes are required to mount the SWCS cam switches on the switchboard fascia depending on the model. It can also be held securely in place by an adhesive film on the back of the scale plate.
