Danfoss has launched a global education initiative aimed at supporting the next generation of refrigeration professionals.

The company will produce and distribute 100 advanced refrigeration training benches to selected schools worldwide, bringing modern, hands-on learning directly into the classroom.

The initiative is supported by the Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation.

Danfoss Climate Solutions Segment president, Kristian Strand, said the future of refrigeration is built by the students of today.

“With the right tools and experience, they can become the skilled professionals shaping a more sustainable and innovative world,” Strand said.

The training benches replicate real-world cooling systems and are equipped with sustainable technologies, including R290 refrigerant systems, high-efficiency compressors, precision valves, and advanced controllers.

Developed by Danfoss and featuring an evaporator sponsored by Güntner, the units are designed to strengthen interest in refrigeration technology and prepare students for work with the systems used in the industry today.

“By bringing modern refrigeration technology into education, we aim to strengthen interest in the field, support practical learning, and inspire the next generation of skilled professionals,” Strand said.

Educational institutions can apply for a chance to receive one of the 100 training benches. Applications will be reviewed, and selected schools will be notified.
