Italian heat exchanger product manufacturer Lu-Ve is the latest company to join the Carrier Alliance.
The Carrier Alliance program was launched last year to achieve supply chain cost savings totalling $600 million.
Carrier said the program will strengthen strategic relationships with suppliers and provide certainty, security and growth opportunities for Carrier and its key suppliers.
Under the agreement Lu-Ve will supply engineered components including heat exchangers, glass doors and aftermarket solutions across Carrier’s commercial HVAC and refrigeration portfolios.
Carrier and the Lu-Ve Group have collaborated for many years and most recently have been working together to deploy new refrigerant solutions with lower environmental impact and higher efficiency for heat exchangers.
The partnership will reduce the environmental impact of components.
Lu-Ve Group CEO Matteo Liberali said the partnership will allow the company to shorten the supply chain, lead-time and quality of service.
“In particular, we see potential in refrigerated transport, based on our knowledge of coils, and HVAC, where Lu-Ve is at the forefront in the use of sustainable refrigerants,” he said.
