The Viper product range from Refrigeration Technologies has been certified from the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in and around food processing areas.

Founded in 1944, the NSF is a global public health and safety organisation.

Products certified by NSF are produced in compliance with strict standards and procedures imposed by NSF that are designed to protect public health.

SuperCool Group general manager, Jon Mitchell, said chemicals used in the HVACR industry are promoted as having NSF certification, yet are unsafe for the technician.

Or, they are only certified for use in specific sensitive areas or could be NSF registered for use in non-food processing areas only.

Mitchell said the difference with Viper coil cleaners and other products is that they carry specific NSF registration for actual use in and around food processing areas.

“If a product is certified for use in and around food processing areas, it will be safe and reliable for use by everyone,” he said.
