SolarEdge has launched a new monitoring and management app for PV system owners which is available now.
Known as mySolarEdge, the free monitoring application is specifically designed for residential and commercial PV system owners.
Providing end users with convenience and ease of use, the app enables SolarEdge system owners to track, in real-time, solar energy production and storage, and remotely manage smart home appliances and EV charging.
With the addition of this app, SolarEdge is expanding its software offering to better serve end-users, while continuing to maintain its monitoring platform that provides technical information to PV professionals.
By providing system information,the app allows system owners to independently monitortheir smart energy system. This helps to reduce unnecessary site visits by installers and allows them to offer faster and efficient remote support.
System owners can also independently change their Wi-Fi password and communication settings, offering them more control of energy management and further reducing reliance on installers.
The app securely connects to the inverter’s access point to display both basic and advanced inverter status views.
The app is available to iPhone and Android users.
