To help bridge the gap in education, Hussmann Australia participated in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Training Alliance (RACTA) training initiatives at ARBS 2026.
The company shared knowledge and fostered capability-building among the next generation of refrigeration professionals.
Hussmann donated its Panasonic Transcritical CO₂ Condensing Unit to RACTA to enhance professional development within the industry.
The unit was this year’s winner of the Refrigeration Product Excellence Award.
The exhibition also allowed Hussmann to share insights into the evolving role of transcritical CO₂ refrigeration systems within modern retail applications.
Their experts, Goutham Natarajan and Vinod Kamble, presented on the practical performance of these systems in small-format retail stores, showcasing how they contribute to operational efficiencies.
The presentation highlighted that refrigeration is transitioning from merely a technical consideration to becoming a key business driver for retailers and operators.
This shift underscores the necessity of equipping current and future professionals with the skills and knowledge required to navigate this changing landscape.
