Daikin Australia has expanded its hot water specialist network with the addition of Australian Hot Water which has locations across the ACT and NSW.
Established in Moorebank, NSW in 1985, Australian Hot
Water is still owned and operated by its founding employees.
The family-owned company has a wealth of experience, coordinating a combined fleet of 32 service vehicles across eight locations.
In the past 40-plus years Australian Hot Water has delivered well over a quarter of a million domestic installations alongside a significant volume of commercial projects.
The business also maintains a strong service and repair offering which accounts for roughly 30% of its daily operations.
Daikin Australia’s general manager of sales, Simon Langstaff, said Australian Hot Water is exactly the kind of partner the manufacturer look for to join their specialist network.
“They bring decades of genuine expertise and a reputation built on doing the job right. We look forward to growing this partnership and continuing to deliver quality heat pump hot water solutions with their team,” Langstaff said.
As part of the Daikin hot water specialist network, Australian Hot Water customers will receive industry-leading equipment installed by experts with deep product knowledge and long-term technical expertise.
Australian Hot Water general manager, Dean McDonald, said the partnership reinforces a consistent standard of training and quality that flows through to every job.
“The heat pump hot water market has been flooded with substandard products driven by unsustainable rebates and subsidies,” he said.
“Many of those brands have since failed or disappeared entirely, leaving homeowners without support. Australian Hot Water will only align with reputable brands like Daikin that are built to last.”
Australian Hot Water has a wide and diverse customer base from domestic households, home units, townhouses and villas through to commercial clients across high-rise plant rooms, office spaces, restaurants, sporting facilities, and retirement villages.
The business manages full customer journeys with its network of qualified plumbers and electricians handling installation, service and maintenance.
“All customers get the same experience. Most of our tradespeople live locally as do the owners. Word of mouth in our communities travels fast and if we get the job done well at a fair price, we maintain our reputation, which in turn provides a high level of return customers and referrals,” McDonald said.
“We also engage in local communities with sports sponsorships and charity support. Our main group charity is Starlight, which we have supported monthly since 2020,” he added.
