Enertech Global, a leading manufacturer of ground source (geothermal) and air-to-water heat pumps, has launched the WV, a next generation variable-speed hydronic heat pump engineered for maximum flexibility, performance, and ease of installation.
Standing just 42 inches tall, the WV redefines versatility by delivering radiant in-floor heating, forced air heating and cooling, and up to 100% of a home's domestic hot water needs.
With a broad capacity range (0.5 to 5 tonnes), true dual-fuel compatibility with seamless modulating boiler integration, and no need for a buffer tank, the WV offers unmatched flexibility and space savings for both retrofit and new construction projects.
Enertech director of product management, Jeremy Vonder Haar, said the new WV is the solution today's market has been asking for – compact, all-in-one, and built for total home comfort.
“It embodies our mission to revolutionise how America heats and cools its homes—with smarter, cleaner, and more integrated systems,” he said.
Engineered with direct input from installers and technicians, the WV reduces installation time, streamlines commissioning, and simplifies service and diagnostics.
Lower energy bills and a smaller mechanical footprint make WV-centred systems desirable for any homeowner.
Enertech director of operations, Justin Jobe, said the WV eliminates bulky components, complex wiring, and yards of copper and PEX piping.
“It's a smarter, more compact install – one that both contractors and customers appreciate," Jobe said.
Backed by rigorous lab and multi-climate field testing, the WV has demonstrated significant energy savings compared to ordinary HVAC systems – all while simplifying design, installation, and operation.
