Levoit has released the Eleva series, a new line of HEPA air purifiers engineered to keep captured allergens from escaping back into the room.

The series launches with two smart models: the Eleva 500X for large, open spaces and the Eleva 300X for bedrooms and small-to-medium rooms.

Every Eleva air purifier is built as a fully sealed system with MaxSeal Technology. The system is designed to route all intake air through the HEPA Filter to help prevent pollen, dust, pet dander and smoke particles from bypassing the filter through internal gaps and returning to the room.

That means the 99.97% HEPA rating (IEST-RP-CC001.7 Type A, the latest version) down to 0.3 microns reflects particle filtration of the air actually delivered back into the room.

Levoit director of product commercialisation, David Yoon, said a high-performing filter is only part of the equation when it comes to air purification.

"The Eleva series was designed so that the sealed system, not just the filter, accounts for what reaches the room. That is the standard we built the entire series around, from the bedroom up," Yoon said.

The Eleva 500X carries an AHAM Verifide Clean Air Delivery Rate of 301 CFM for smoke, 298 for dust, 299 for PM2.5 and 319 for pollen, cleaning a 467-square-foot room in 12.5 minutes at 4.8 air changes per hour.

It operates between 22 and 52 dB across four fan speeds plus Sleep Mode.

Beyond the sealed system, the 500X adds multi-channel detection. Its smart sensors read PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 particles alongside volatile organic compounds and nitrogen dioxide — gases produced by gas stoves, wood fireplaces, cleaning products, paint and furniture.

Because Auto Mode responds to what the sensors read, the 500X reacts to both particle and gas pollutant events.

DuoShield Technology's dual-filter design lets the HEPA and Activated Carbon Filters be replaced separately.

The Main Filter lasts up to two years, while the Activated Carbon Filter can be matched to a household's specific concerns, with options for pets, smoke and cooking, and stubborn odours.

The Eleva 300X is the bedroom-scale member of the series, sharing the same MaxSeal fully sealed HEPA system, DuoShield dual-filter design and two-year Main Filter life as the 500X.

It carries an AHAM Verifide CADR of 161 CFM for smoke, dust and PM2.5, and 172 for pollen, cleaning a 250-square-foot room in 12.5 minutes at 4.8 air changes per hour.

Its three-channel sensor tracks PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10, enabling the same Auto Mode response for particles. The 300X operates between 20 and 50 dB, dropping as low as 20 dB during overnight use.

On both Eleva models, the display lights turn off completely at any fan speed, including the highest, so full-speed filtration and a completely dark room are not a trade-off.

The Eleva 300X and the 500X are also Energy Star 3.0 certified — a tier met by roughly a quarter of room air cleaners evaluated by the EPA in 2025 — with the 500X drawing up to 33 W while producing 299 CADR for PM2.5, and the 300X up to 25.5 W while producing 161 CADR for PM2.5.

The VeSync app manages settings, schedules and air-quality monitoring for both Eleva models, with voice control available through compatible third-party voice assistants including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Current particle readings and AQI levels display on the unit itself, with daily, weekly and long-term trends available in the app.

The app's smart filter tracking measures Main Filter life based on actual usage rather than a fixed calendar and sends separate replacement reminders for the Main Filter and Activated Carbon Filters.
