Systemair has strengthened its presence in North America with the acquisition of Temspec Incorporated, a leading designer and manufacturer of decentralised HVAC equipment in Canada.
Temspec holds a strong position in the North American HVAC market for multi-storey buildings and school applications.
The company began operations in 1971, and Temspec’s head office and manufacturing plant is located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
The company employs approximately 90 staff and in the fiscal year 2024/25 had revenues totalling $US20.4 million.
Temspec will be integrated into Systemair’s North American operations, which today employs approximately 555 people.
Systemair president & CEO, Robert Larsson, said the deal strengthens Systemair’s position in the North American market making it the undisputed leader in ventilation solutions for schools.
“With complementary products and an established sales representative network, we see significant opportunities for revenue growth,” Larsson said.
Temsprec president, Mark Ellison, said the partnership creates opportunities for staff.
