The search for Australia’s best tradie has returned with the launch of the 2020 HVACR Leadership Awards.
Temperzone has returned as the sponsor of the Tradie of the Year Award to recognise technicians that are dedicated to their craft.
Temperzone’s national customer care manager, Mark Howcroft, said that as a local manufacturer Temperzone develops products that meet the needs of technicians.
“It is a good partnership and through the awards program it is great to be able to acknowledge the value they bring to our industry,” he said.
“I am sure we have all seen examples of less than perfect installations and repairs. To excel as a tradie I think the main qualities are passion and pride in the work that they do and the industry they represent.
“Other qualities such as hard work, perseverance, integrity, enthusiasm are also requirements for success.”
Howcroft said an award-winning tradie has a real desire to learn and to increase their knowledge in all areas of the business.
“With such an evolving market and continuous advancements in technology, teamwork, problem solving skills and good communication will be increasingly important,” he said.
“I also want to acknowledge the tradies including our own who have been out there during recent times continuing to service our industry. Thank you.”
